Shampoo & Hair Preparation
Deposits & Payments
Sit back and relax—wash day is part of the experience. Every full service includes a professional shampoo, conditioning, and a maintenance trim when necessary. Blow-drying is provided when required for your selected service. Clients should arrive with previous styles removed and hair reasonably detangled. Extensions, braids, twists, or wigs must be taken down unless a Detangling/Takedown service was booked. Excessive detangling, matting, or buildup requiring significant extra time may result in additional charges or an adjustment to your scheduled service.
A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be applied toward your final balance. The remaining balance is due at the time of service via Apple Pay, Tap to Pay, card, cash, or Zelle. Please note that “starting at” prices may increase depending on hair length, density, condition, or additional complexity. Deposits are non-refundable for client cancellations, regardless of notice. Providing at least 24 hours’ notice prevents the additional $50 late-cancellation fee. With at least 48 hours’ notice, the deposit may be transferred one time to a rescheduled appointment.
Cancellations
Rescheduling
Cancellations require at least 24 hours' notice to avoid a $50 late-cancellation fee. While client deposits are strictly non-refundable, giving timely notice protects you from further penalty fees. In the event that Solenia Beauty Co. must cancel your appointment, your deposit may be refunded or transferred to a future booking.
Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours' notice for your deposit to be eligible for a one-time transfer to a new date. Rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a $20 rescheduling fee. Please note that subsequent rescheduling requests or late notice may require a new deposit to secure your time slot.
Late Arrivals
No-Shows
Arrivals 15 minutes late may be subject to a $15 late fee, and the service may need to be modified based on the remaining appointment time. Arrivals 30 minutes or more late may be canceled or rescheduled and treated as a no-show if there is no longer enough time to complete the service without affecting other appointments. If the stylist is running behind, you will be contacted immediately.
Missing an appointment without any prior communication is considered a no-show and will result in a $50 no-show fee. A new deposit will be required before you are able to book again. Repeated no-shows may result in the loss of future booking privileges with Solenia Beauty Co.
SALON ETIQUETTE
Guests
No additional guests unless they are receiving a scheduled service or have received prior approval. One parent or guardian may accompany a child receiving a service.
Illness
Clients experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness should contact Solenia Beauty Co. before the appointment. Rescheduling may be necessary for the health and safety of everyone.
Service Satisfaction
Clients with concerns about a completed service should contact Solenia Beauty Co. within 48 hours, with photos when applicable. Completed services are non-refundable due to the time, labor, and products involved. A complimentary adjustment may be offered on a case-by-case basis and must relate directly to the service originally booked and performed.
Consultations & Hair Health
Hair health comes first. Hair history, current condition, desired results, maintenance, and realistic expectations may be discussed before a service. Color, corrective, chemical, and specialty services may require a more detailed consultation. If a requested service could compromise the health of the client's hair, an alternative may be recommended or the service may be declined.
TRAVEL & MOBILE SERVICES
Travel/mobile appointments are offered when available and require an additional travel fee based on distance. The fee will be communicated and approved before the appointment is confirmed. Clients must provide a clean, safe, adequately lit area with enough space for the service and equipment.
